＜プロフィール＞
オーストラリア・シドニー出身。主にブリスベンとゴールドコーストで育つ。クイーンズランド工科大学で教育学士を取得後、グリフィス大学でTESOL（学士）および教育学修士、ニューイングランド大学でMBAを修了。オーストラリアと日本の私立・公立教育界に35年間従事。体育・科学・英語の教師としてキャリアをスタートし、その後、神奈川県で英語学校を複数立ち上げるとともに、日本全国の私立学校における教育開発プロジェクトに携わる。松本秀峰中等教育学校の校長就任以前は、京都および横浜の私立中学・高校で校長を務めた。上海出身の妻とともに日本の永住権を取得し、日本語・英語・中国語の三言語を話す息子の育児にも力を注ぐ。
What does a bright and amazing future look like?
As a parent with a child in elementary school, I hope to lead my child to a bright and amazing future. I want my child to live a richer, happier, healthier and more fulfilling life beyond my own generation. In this turbulent era, when entering society, I want my child to grasp every opportunity, overcome difficulties with courage and confidence, and grow into someone who can maximize one’s potential. I believe that many parents have similar wishes for the future of their precious children. Our school divides its curriculum into three stages for six years of integrated education. In the first and second years, students will shift from passive learning to self-learning, and in the third and fourth years, when high school studies begin, the program includes high levels of abstraction and sophistication. In the fifth and sixth years, students will develop a wide range of knowledge and the ability to apply it with an eye toward university. In this way, we provide a wide range of advanced learning guidance that is essential for self-realization, and a solid foundation of academic ability for aspiring to prestigious universities and career paths.

＜Profile＞
Born in Sydney, Australia, he grew up in Brisbane and the Gold Coast area. He completed a Bachelor of Education at Queensland University of Technology, a Graduate diploma of TESOL and a Master of Education at Griffith University, and an MBA at the University of New England. He has worked in the private and public education sector in Australia and Japan for 35 years. He started his career as a PE, Science and English teacher, and later established several English schools in Kanagawa Prefecture and was involved in educational development projects in private schools across Japan. Prior to becoming the principal of Matsumoto Shuho Secondary School, he served as the principal of private junior and senior high schools in Kyoto and Yokohama. He and his wife, who is originally from Shanghai, have obtained permanent residency in Japan and are dedicated to raising their son, who is a fully trilingual.
