Nagano Speech Contest Result
On Saturday 8th November, two students from the Foreign Language Club represented Shuho at the 20th Nagano Prefecture High School Speech and Recitation Contest, hosted by Seisen University.
In the Recitation Division, English club captain delivered a moving recitation about Umeko Tsuda, a pioneer of women's education. His calm and powerful delivery impressed both the judges and the audience, earning him Second Place and the Nagano Prefectural Board of Education Award.
In the Speech Division, 4th grade students gave an impassioned speech titled "My Prescription for the World," in which he challenged stereotypes about what it means to be a doctor. His unique perspective and confident delivery earned him First Place and the Nagano Governor's Award.
Both students faced strong competition, but their effort, skill, and dedication were a credit to themselves and to Shuho.
